SILVER SALMON CREEK LODGE

Lake Clark National Park, Alaska

August 4-10, 2008

The Silver Salmon Creek Lodge (“SSCL”) in Lake Clark National Park, Alaska, provides some of the best available photographic access to wildlife.  There are no crowds and no platforms.  At times, you may be standing a few feet from the bears.

See pictures by participants of Carolyn's last workshop at Silver Salmon Creek Lodge:

- Victoria Dye (including travel log)

- Marble Jones (bear pics)

SCHEDULE

We will fly out of Anchorage on the morning of August 4, 2008, so all participants should arrive in Anchorage by August 3, 2008.  We will spend five+ full days (weather permitting) photographing coastal brown bears, puffins (with a boat trip to Puffin Island), and the beautiful scenery of the area.  Guided fishing trips are available for an extra charge.  We also will have plenty of time for critique and photographic instruction sessions.  We will return to Anchorage mid-day on August 10, 2008 (weather permitting).
